DeutschKaiser, Taha Özaydın tarafından geliştirildi ve onun ilk uygulamasıdır. Bu proje, basit bir ihtiyaçtan doğdu: Almanca öğrenmeye başladığı dönemde Taha, kelime haznesini düzenli ve etkili biçimde geliştirebileceği bir uygulama aradı. Ancak denediği uygulamaların hiçbiri tam olarak hedeflerine uymuyordu — kimi dağınıktı, kimi gereğinden fazla şey yapmaya çalışıyor ama hiçbirini doğru dürüst yapamıyordu.
O zamanlar 14 yaşındaydı ve "keşke böyle bir uygulama olsa" diye düşünüyordu. Yıllar sonra, 21 yaşına geldiğinde, çocukken aradığı o şeyi beklemek yerine kendisinin yapmasına karar verdi. DeutschKaiser işte bu kararın ürünüdür.

Günümüzde pek çok dil öğrenme uygulaması aynı anda her şeyi yapmaya çalışıyor: kelime, dilbilgisi, konuşma, oyunlar, sosyal özellikler… Sonuçta hiçbiri gerçekten parlamıyor. DeutschKaiser bunun tam tersini hedefliyor: odaklanmış, sade ve özenli. Tek bir işi — Almanca kelime öğrenmeyi — alıp, onu olabildiğince iyi yapmaya çalışıyor. Akıllı kelime kartları, doğru artikeller, örnek cümleler, seviyelere göre içerik ve günlük seriler; hepsi bu tek amaca hizmet ediyor.
Uygulama şu anki haliyle hiçbir şekilde kâr amacı gütmez ve hiçbir içeriği paralı olarak sunmaz. Reklam yok, abonelik yok, gizli ücret yok. Bu, bir öğrenme yolculuğunun ve bir öğrenci projesinin samimi bir ürünü.
Projeden beklenen tek şey, kullanıcıların geri bildirimleridir. Senin için neyin işe yaradığını, neyin eksik olduğunu ya da nasıl daha iyi olabileceğini duymak, DeutschKaiser'i bir adım öteye taşıyacak en değerli şey. Bir fikrin, önerin veya eleştirin varsa, çekinmeden yaz.

An idea searched for at 14, brought to life at 21.
DeutschKaiser was created by Taha Özaydın and is his very first app. The project was born from a simple need: when Taha started learning German, he looked for an app that would help him build his vocabulary in a structured and effective way. But none of the apps he tried truly fit his goals — some were cluttered, others tried to do far too much and did none of it well.
Back then he was 14 years old, thinking "I wish an app like this existed." Years later, at the age of 21, instead of waiting for the thing he had searched for as a child, he decided to build it himself. DeutschKaiser is the result of that decision.
"Not an app that does a little bit of everything, but one that offers few things and tries to make them as close to perfect as possible."
Today many language-learning apps try to do everything at once: vocabulary, grammar, speaking, games, social features… and in the end none of them really shines. DeutschKaiser aims for the opposite: focused, simple, and crafted with care. It takes a single job — learning German vocabulary — and tries to do it as well as it can. Smart flashcards, correct articles, example sentences, level-based content, and daily streaks all serve this one purpose.
In its current form, the app has no profit motive whatsoever and offers no content behind a paywall. No ads, no subscriptions, no hidden fees. It is the honest product of a learning journey and a student project.
The only thing expected from this project is feedback from its users. Hearing what works for you, what is missing, or how it could be better is the most valuable thing that can move DeutschKaiser forward. If you have an idea, a suggestion, or a criticism, don't hesitate to write.
